Career Transitions

Career Transitions include both changing companies and career pivots - both are daunting propositions. There are two groups of transition:

  • Active - whether due to layoffs, restructures, or personal choice, the group that is right now and publicly looking for a new role or new type of role.

  • Passive - the quieter group, beginning to believe they need (or deserve) something else. This group probably can’t talk about what they’re feeling at work - because work is the very thing you’re trying to change.

Everyone needs (and deserves) support through transitions. The sheer fact of knowing you are not alone, validating your thoughts and experiences, your hopes, dreams and fears is help enough. Add to that mutual support and networking, expert advice, thought partnership - now we’re talking about feeling optimism, empowerment, and choice.

That’s why I’m launching a 4-week group coaching series “Tackling Transitions”. We’ll hold space together for emotions, the worry, the hope, the wild precious dreams, the realities, and the strategies for being in control of this hard thing.

Change is unavoidable - let’s set ourselves up to be ready to control our own destiny.
